Nyasha Poitier, MS, Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Are you doing “all the right things” — yet still feel uneasy inside?

You’re driven, responsible, success-oriented — and yet something feels disconnected. You may push through high expectations, carry inner criticism, or feel unseen behind accomplishment. You want more: deeper connection, alignment, ease, and authenticity.

Who I Help

I work primarily with high-achieving individuals — professionals, creatives, over-thinkers, caretakers — who are ready to shift from performance to presence, from striving to belonging. Whether you’re facing anxiety, self-doubt, life transitions, or past wounds, you don’t have to carry it alone. If so, you’re not alone, and seeking support is one of the bravest steps you can take.

My Approach

I offer integrative, relational therapy with a focus on mind + body + story. In sessions, we’ll weave together:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) to understand your internal parts and bring inner harmony

  • Somatic practices & mind-body awareness (breath, grounding, movement) so you reconnect to bodily wisdom

  • EMDR for trauma processing and shifting stuck patterns

  • Expressive arts & narrative work to re-story what’s been unspoken or stuck

  • Strength-based, meaning-oriented work so you reclaim your agency, resilience, and purpose

You won’t just talk. You’ll feel, experiment, shift, and choose new ways of being — aligned with your deepest self, not just your obligations.

Next Step

You are deserving of connection, integration, and rest. If you’re ready to begin, I welcome you to book a complimentary consultation — a chance for us to connect, see if we’re a good fit, and map your next steps forward.
